Paraprofessionals play important roles in assisting the student’s achievement in the public school system. Paraprofessionals are responsible for supporting and supplementing teachers by providing support to students with disabilities and who need instruction or assistance based on their IEP. This course meets the State of Oklahoma requirements and prepares paraprofessionals to provide services to students with disabilities. Paraprofessionals assist schools in providing free and appropriate public education to students with disabilities in the least restrictive environment. This course includes CPR/First Aid as needed for state registration.
To enroll in this course, students must be 18 years of age.
