While others may spend years getting qualified for their career choice, those interested in the cosmetology field can get licensed in less than 18 months. And the benefits of working in the area are hard to ignore: Flexible scheduling makes this career path an excellent option for people who want to control their schedules. Even more, creative geniuses can do quite well in this field. It’s worthy of mentioning that the need for hairdressers, manicurists and skin care professionals is expected to rise by more than 15 percent between 2010 and 2020 (Bureau of Labor Statistics).
