Construction Technology

Building the future and restoring the past!

If you are at your best working with your hands and building stuff then construction training might just be thing for you. Caddo Kiowa Technology Center’s Construction Technology program will teach you the basic skills you need to get an entry-level position in the construction industry. You’ll get hands-on training working on construction projects and learn basic skills such as math and reading that you’ll use on the jobsite.

Additionally, you’ll learn how to use both hand and power tools effectively and safely. From blueprint to completion, students use advanced technologies in a live-work setting to gain the knowledge they need to go to work in the construction field.

And since the Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that the construction industry employs almost 6 million workers, successful students should have not trouble going to work.

As a student in CKTC’s construction training program, you will learn from skilled instructors as well from professionals in the industry. If you would like to know more, we would love to have you come visit us and tour the construction program.

Students enrolled in the program may receive certifications from WorkKeys and National Center for Construction Education & Research.
