CKTC announces end-of-year staff awards
CKTC staff recently voted on their choice for staff awards. During an assembly on Friday, Tony Hancock, Superintendent, announced the awards. Receiving the staff award Educator of the Year was Laurie Stocking, LPN Instructor/Director. Joining Stocking as year-end award recipients were Allan Leatherbury, Diesel Services Instructor, as New Educator of the Year; and Austin Buckner, Network/Computer Technician, as the Support Staff of the Year.
Also during the staff assembly, staff pins were awarded. Those receiving five-year pins were Cricket Peteet, Early Care and Education Assistant; Wade Turney, Construction Assistant; and Diann Campbell, Student Services Enrollment Specialist.
Those receiving their 10-year pins were J.R. Oswald, Network and Computer Systems Administrator; and Staci Repp, Student Services Director.
Receiving her 15-year pin was Sharon Myers, Treasurer.
Julia Luke, Digital Imaging and Print Technology Instructional Assistant; Ronda Weaver, Counselor/Work Prep Coordinator; and Marcia Harmon, Pre-Engineering and Science Instructor, received their 20-year pins. And Scott Wright, Digital Imaging and Printing Technology Instructor, received his 25-year pin.
Retiring this year was Truck Driver Training Instructor Clyde Wells.For almost half a century, CKTC has provided career training, business and industry services and leadership programs to a rural district in southwest Oklahoma.
