CKTC’s Early Care and Education Center receives book donation from PSO

With Week of the Young Child fast approaching, Public Service Company of Oklahoma, an operating unit of American Electric Power, presented Caddo Kiowa Technology Center’s Early Care and Education Center with a book donation.

“Since reading is big part of our daily activities at the center, this donation is greatly appreciated,” said Director Amy Cown. “We all love seeing the children enjoying a good book that interests them. And there was a wide-range of topics in the books Mr. Hixson delivered to us last week.”

The Week of the Young Child is an annual celebration hosted by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). The week is for celebrating early learning, young children, their teachers and families. This year’s event is April 16–20, 2018.
