Caddo Kiowa Technology Center is accepting applications for Student Services Testing Assistant.

 

Qualifications:  High School Diploma or equivalent – required, Associates Degree – preferred.  Minimum of two years of experience as Administrative Assistant or equivalent.  Administrative Assistant Certificate or equivalent certification with emphasis in computer applications and fundamental skills – preferred.

 

Additional Qualifications:  Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (or their equivalent).  Knowledge of administrative procedures and systems.  Knowledge of principles and practices of basic office management and operation of standard office equipment and relevant software.  Excellent customer service, organizational and data entry skills; basic mathematical and written and oral communication skills.  Experience working with secondary and/or adult students is preferred.

Student Services Testing Assistant

 

Responsible for assisting with the coordination, administration and maintenance of student assessments and exams.  Assist Student Services staff with paraprofessional responsibilities in daily activities.  Perform a range of administrative and office support activities for the department supervisor to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization.

 

Student Services Director

Participate in school wide Continuous School Improvement (CSI) initiatives.

 

Continue professional development education in areas pertinent to the position.

 

Attend all local staff meetings, conferences and approved professional development training at the local, district and state levels.

 

Maintain good communication and work cooperatively with all staff to maintain a culture of CSI.

 

Perform various other duties assigned by the supervisor within the physical constraints of the position.

 

Reliable, dependable, and punctual attendance.

 

1.       Assist with student assessments by means of administering a variety of local, state and national exams.

2.       Administer student assessments that are required during the enrollment process.

3.       Maintain student confidentiality and testing ethics.

4.       Maintain testing data base.

5.       Establish and maintain a testing schedule with CKTC staff, students and clients.

6.       Keep inventory on all materials and equipment in the testing room.

7.       Prepare and store testing materials in a secured manner.

8.       Answer phones, take messages and provide assistance to anyone that is seeking education related services.
